Maintenance Mechanic | Corona, CA facility

Perform scheduled and emergency maintenance on manufacturing machinery. Perform electrical repairs and installations. Maintain motorized equipment. Perform grounds/facilities repairs, as required. Ability to recognize potential failures and use proactive approach prior to equipment failure. Ensure accuracy and safety in all operations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
*Diagnose and correct mechanical and electrical breakdowns in plant machinery and equipment.
*Perform routine and preventive/predictive maintenance on all machinery.
*Perform basic to moderately complex electrical repairs and installations.
*Maintain and repair motorized equipment.
*Operate forklifts to transport heavy parts and equipment.
*Coordinate maintenance of parts inventory with MRO and purchasing personnel.
*Maintain work logs as required.
*Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

Experience: Minimum of two years experience in industrial mechanical and electrical maintenance. Experience with PLC's, AC/DC Drives, Hydraulics and Pneumatics. Welding Experience.

Knowledge: Knowledge of basic preventive maintenance scheduling and implementation required. Must have excellent mechanical aptitude.

Mental/Physical/Visual Demands: Ability to learn basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills with on-the-job training. Ability to work well with others. Ability to work with some limited supervision to perform job. Position requires walking, standing, heavy lifting, bending, and twisting. Must be able to work quickly and able to lift 50 pounds maximum, able to lift with assistance 80 to 100 pounds. Must be skilled in working with hand and electrical tools.

Working Conditions: Manufacturing plant environment with exposure to equipment noise. Work involves exposure to high voltage (220v - 480v) equipment and rapidly moving machinery.
